Initial Steps: The entity interested in becoming a member should approach the mandated groups recognised as members of the NICF within their waka/region for support.
Written Application: Submit a written application to the Coordination Group. This application should include supporting letters from neighbouring iwi who is a financial member.
The Coordination Group will convene to discuss the application and make recommendations to the full NICF for ratification.
Once ratified, the applicant iwi will be invoiced for the membership fee.
Settled Iwi: $4,500 per annum
Non-settled Iwi: $3,000 per annum
